LondonEdge

Now in its 12th year, the London Edge and London Central trade shows return to London’s Olympia National Hall this February. For the second year running it will also be joined by The Ledge Show, which brings together a consortium of key brands within the Action sports sector.

LondonEdge is of course well known as a home to the best alternative brands out there. It was the first show that ran back in 2000 and plays host to all the best niche and cult alternative brands available. With a huge selection of exhibitors offering a spectacular range of clothes, accessories, giftware, make up and even furniture, it covers the whole range of the alternative world from rockabilly to 80’s nostalgia, from festival ethnic to heavy metal.

London Central adds to this with a more mainstream vibe encompassing fashion and streetwear with youth and music influences. Here you will find a fantastic combination of the cutting edge world of fashion and the kooky creativeness of the vintage aesthetic. Whilst it may be more geared towards the mainstream, this is far from the high-street and offers a close up look at a fashion revolution.

Just round the corner in the gallery The Ledge show will provide the only Action Sports and Lifestyle trade show around providing brands devoted to the world of skateboarding and other adrenaline fuelled extreme sports. Not only offering fashion and footwear you can find the hardware you need here too. The Ledge may be run independently of the Edge and Central shows but it offers a complimentary range of exhibitors, which is why the organisers decided to hold all three shows together to give retailers and buyers the best opportunities to expand and launch their brands.

Exciting developments have taken place for this February’s event including the expansion of the ground floor, which houses the LondonEdge and London Central shows, to accommodate over 25 new exhibitors. The Ledge show will also be hosting a 5 foot mini ramp supplied by Kings Ramps and endorsed by Sidewalk Surfer with competitions being held and cash prizes being up for grabs.

The exhibitors list for the three shows is absolutely huge and the range available is incredible, so if you are in the business of the alternative, the cutting edge or the extreme sport this is the place to be. Running from the 5th – 7th of February this trio of trade shows really offers something for everyone.

We’ll also be featuring photos from the show in the next issue of Rebelicious, so keep an eye out for that!
