Exposed: Ms Angi

What inspired you to become a model? I always wanted to model, but figured that I wasn’t tall or skinny enough. Once I got involved in the tattoo industry, I saw all of the women on the covers of tattoo magazines and thought, “I could do that!” It wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I actually pursued it.

What are your favourite styles/themes/concepts to shoot? My favorite and most done style is just simple tattoo modelling, I love being able to show off my tattoo work. I also love pin-up shoots; I love dressing up really cute with the hair and makeup and adorable dresses.

Do you have any pre-shoot rituals? I always make sure my nails, hair and skin are in order. I make sure my eyebrows are tweezed and that my legs are freshly shaved. Other than that, I make sure I eat a light snack before I leave, like a smoothie or a piece of fruit.

How would you describe your own personal style? My style usually depends on what I am doing. My day-to-day style is very casual with just jeans/shorts and a top. But if we are going somewhere nice or out to dinner I like to dress up. Or if we are headed to a show or concert I like to wear the “rocker” look. I enjoy changing my look to fit the scenery.

What’s the funniest thing to happen during a shoot? I once did a fashion shoot in an outdoor park and there were a lot of gnats flying around. Eventually one of them flew up my nose, so I got quite a few candid shots of me picking a bug out of my nose thanks to the photographer who thought it was quite funny.

Away from the modeling world, what else do you get up to? I have been exploring the other side of modeling and learning a little about photography. I also am a tattoo artist, although I sold my shop a few years ago to be a stay at home mum, I still tattoo family and friends by appointment.

Is there anyone that you would like to collaborate with one day? Oh, I have a list of photographers and models I absolutely adore and would love to work with. But currently, I am actively seeking out some corset and latex designers that I can work with; I would really love to add some of those types of shoots to my portfolio.

If you could be in charge of Rebelicious for a week, what would you do? I would find a really awesome metal band to feature in the magazine, just so I could interview them.

Finally is there anything you would like to say to our readers? Thank you so much for your support and to my fans for following me along the way!
